Rotary Coolers
Commercial and Pilot Scale Rotary Coolers. Typically a cooler is located at the discharge end of an indirectly heated calciner or a direct-fired kiln.
Direct and Indirect Rotary Coolers
A rotary cooler from Thermal Processing Solutions can be arranged for indirect or direct cooling.
Indirect cooling is achieved when the material is cooled through the cylinder wall with either air or water an evaporative water spray jacket.
Direct cooling is achieved with a counterflow air sweep air, optionally with a water spray lance directly on the process material at the feed end providing 100% evaporative cooling.
